Preparing your home

"You never get a second chance to make a good first impression."

--Will Rogers

Preparing your home for that first impression is a team effort between you and your agent. Your agent will have suggestions of what you can do to maximize the market appeal of your home. It might include some repairs, painting, replacing carpeting, and/or landscaping. But most of all they may provide "staging" to help with placement of your furniture to show off a particular room.

Many times this is as simple as reducing the number of pieces of furniture to open up a room, or rearranging furniture to do the same. In order to allow potential buyers to really see a house, and let them visualize the home as theirs, many sellers have found that it is best to pack up personal belongings.

You’ll want every potential buyer to be able to picture their family in your home. Please contact me for the "How to Prepare Your Home for Listing Checklist," and find out how I can help your home make the best first impression!
